This paper uses MCTDH-X to investigate how dipolar interactions affect the expansion of bosons in a 1D optical lattice, revealing interaction- and lattice-dependent transport regimes, including bimodal expansion and arrested dynamics, which differ markedly from systems with only contact interactions.
